Founded in 2005 by Michael Wright Sr. and Mike Wright Jr., familyowned safety products supplier, 70E Solutions( 70E), has transformed from a single, humble garage business to a corporate powerhouse. The business initially started out testing and supplying electrical PPE for local electricians but quickly grew its presence in the electrical safety sphere, expanding further into the government defense sector, providing tools, kitting solutions, and more; the sky was the limit.
Today, 70E is bigger and better than ever before. Based in Butler, Pennsylvania, the company now operates from a 44,000 squarefoot facility with a customer base that touches all corners of the world. Its mission, however, has always remained the same:‘ to provide high quality testing services, unmatched product knowledge and distinguished customer service’, now and forever.
Proud to be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, 70E is expanding its proven solutions to new heights, further growing its product range, capabilities and global reach. In commemoration of this milestone, Construction Today sits down with Mike Wright Jr., President of 70E, to find out what gives the company its competitive edge whilst uncovering what its next chapter holds. Mike begins our conversation by providing some insight into 70E’ s background and its scope of capabilities.
“ Today, 70E operates in two business units; we have the electrical safety division and a military division, which specializes in different kitting and logistics solutions to support the US military,” he shares.“ We have our own in-house NAIL-accredited testing laboratory where we test and certify PPE products, and we have several millions of dollars’ worth of stocked products in our warehouse. We also offer virtual, in-house and onsite NFPA 70E Training.”
