Founded by Vince Free, President and Chief Executive Officer, and his wife Jenna, in 2019, the FREEZ leadership team – or rather,‘ The Squad’ – shares a rare connection. As childhood friends, the team built strong friendships before ever building a company(“ think Entourage, but with fewer movie premieres and a lot more insulated metal panels”). Today, driving the business alongside Vince is his wife, Jenna, whose Master’ s Degree in Psychology gives her a unique, invaluable perspective on cultivating a high-performance, thriving company culture. Alongside the pair is Luke Waite, Vice President of Thermal, and Project Managers Dan Costello, Kevin Jensen, and Ryan Gasper. Together, they believe that the best results come from genuine partnership, turning complex thermal challenges into reliable, highperformance solutions.

“ We’ re a specialty contractor serving the cold storage industry, focusing on building temperature-controlled facilities. We started as a small group of trusted friends with decades of experience. We’ d known each other since we were 13, then reconnected in the industry before branching off on our own. When I launched FREEZ, the team reunited. Our straightforward goal was to create the kind of company great customers want to partner with,” he recalls.

“ Now, here we are, building cold storage warehouses across the US. We provide and install full thermal envelope systems, from underfloor insulation to cold storage doors and barrier details. Our focus is on food processing and distribution facilities, where precision truly matters, and small mistakes can quickly become costly. While we’ re all friends, our roles are clear, and no one gets a free pass because of our history.
