Strack , Inc . invests in its people . As Jonathan explains , that ’ s important now more than ever before . “ Our industry is currently facing a serious workforce issue ,” he says . “ And we ’ re not alone . Every industry is having a hard time finding skilled workers .
“ At times it feels like you have to be part-parent and partemployer , and that ’ s totally OK ,” he notes . “ In my role as CEO , I have to work on growing great people first , and that means offering a new chaplain service , which is something we ’ ve never done .
“ The way I see it , we ’ re responsible for building a good person – and that means addressing the two halves of the coin ,” he

adds . “ Personally , for instance , I ’ m trying to be a good worker and build up our workforce development , but then , on the other hand , I ’ m also trying to teach our employees about how to budget for their household and communicate with colleagues .”
Currently , Strack , Inc . is developing its own Training Academy . “ As we speak ,” says Jonathan , “ the curriculum is being written for a Frontline Leadership Training course , which the firm will soon be putting each of its supervisors through .”
Strack , Inc . is also in the process of creating an eight-acre ‘ proving ground ,’ as Jonathan calls it . The Georgia-based firm is now ordering and setting up new equipment for its employees to train and grow within Strack , Inc . as well as the overall industry . “ Our new tagline , ‘ Empowered to Build ,’ doesn ’ t just refer to jobsites ; it is ultimately about our people .
