Woodruff & Sons has evolved from a small, family-run excavation and grading operation into a multistate construction powerhouse built on hard work, integrity, and enduring relationships. Established in Michigan City, Indiana, in 1946, the business was founded by WWII veteran Roy Woodruff, who invested his savings in a single bulldozer. Roy joined forces with his brother, Louis, and father, William, and Woodruff & Sons quickly grew through sheer determination, ingenuity, and pure, hard graft. In 1973, Roy expanded the business into Florida, laying the foundation for Woodruff & Sons to become the leading bi-state, multidisciplinary contractor that it is today.
